Dr. Carlo Van Holder is a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive expertise in both reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. He graduated with honors from KU Leuven in 1992 and completed advanced training in general and plastic surgery at UZ Leuven and the UL Brussels. He further specialized in hand surgery at the Institut de la Main in Paris and earned European diplomas in both hand and plastic surgery. Formerly a surgeon at Erasmus Hospital in Brussels—where he co-led Belgium’s first hand transplant—he now practices at O.L.V. van Lourdes Hospital in Waregem. Dr. Van Holder is an active speaker, author, and member of several national and international surgical societies.
