Prof. Laurence Boon has been a plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon since 1996, practicing at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels. After earning her medical degree and specialization at UCLouvain, she completed advanced training at Boston’s Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, focusing on vascular anomalies. She currently coordinates the Multidisciplinary Vascular Anomaly Center at Saint-Luc and leads international efforts as President of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies. Prof. Boon combines clinical expertise in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery with active involvement in research and innovation in vascular malformation therapies.
