Dr. Rudolf Vertriest is a board-certified plastic surgeon and head of the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department at AZ Maria Middelares in Ghent. He is also the founder of Kouterclinic. After graduating summa cum laude from KU Leuven, he specialized in plastic and aesthetic surgery in Leuven and Kortrijk. His clinical focus includes facial surgery, breast procedures, body contouring, and reconstructive microsurgery. He has trained alongside world-leading surgeons in Mexico, Taiwan, and Brazil, and actively participates in humanitarian surgical missions in countries like Madagascar and Ethiopia.
