Dr. Colpaert est un chirurgien plasticien certifié, ayant reçu une formation approfondie en chirurgie reconstructrice et esthétique. Il a obtenu son diplôme de médecine et sa formation chirurgicale à KU Leuven, puis a suivi des formations spécialisées à l'international au Royaume-Uni et à Londres, axées sur la chirurgie mammaire et faciale. Depuis 2011, il est chef du Département de chirurgie plastique des AZ Monica hospitals, où il dirige également l'équipe de reconstruction mammaire. Dr. Colpaert continue de participer à des conférences internationales et contribue à des publications scientifiques dans ce domaine.
