Prof. Dr. Serge DE FONTAINE

Dr Serge de Fontaine has been practicing plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgery since 1992. Trained at the Université Libre de Bruxelles under Professor M. Lejour, he combines expertise in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He practices privately at his clinic in Braine-l’Alleud as well as at the CHIREC hospital and Hôpital Erasme, where he specializes in facial reconstruction after paralysis and microsurgery. From 2007 to 2017, Dr de Fontaine served as Head of the Plastic Surgery Department at Hôpital Erasme and led the Plastic Surgery Master’s program at Université Libre de Bruxelles, where he remains a Lecturer. A member of several prestigious societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgery and ISAPS, he is also an instructor for international aesthetic surgery courses focusing on the face and nose. Dr de Fontaine is known for his comprehensive approach and commitment to advancing both clinical practice and surgical education.
