Dr. Nicolas Vermeersch graduated with great distinction from the University of Antwerp in 2015 and completed a rigorous 7-year specialization in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery at the same university, achieving the highest score on the national exam. He trained in several Antwerp hospitals as well as at the renowned St. Mary’s and Charing Cross Hospitals in London, specializing in microsurgical breast and lower limb reconstruction. His final training year was spent at Ghent University Hospital under Prof. Ph. Blondeel. In November 2022, he completed a fellowship focusing on aesthetic facial surgery in Istanbul. Dr. Vermeersch combines expertise in general plastic and aesthetic surgery with advanced microsurgical reconstructive techniques, particularly breast reconstruction.
