Accessibility Statement – iGlowly Assistant

Last updated: 22 March 2026

Commitment to Accessibility

iGlowly is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to provide an accessible and inclusive experience for everyone using the iGlowly Assistant and continuously improve the accessibility of our software.

Scope of This Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the iGlowly Assistant widget and its interface only.
It does not apply to the external websites on which the Assistant may be embedded, as those websites are controlled by third parties.

Compliance Status

The iGlowly Assistant conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

This conformance claim is based on internal testing and self-assessment of the widget interface and functionality, including keyboard navigation testing, screen reader testing (NVDA and VoiceOver), color contrast verification, and responsive and zoom testing up to 200%.

Accessibility Features

The iGlowly Assistant includes the following accessibility features:

  • Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, Escape);
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation;
  • Support for screen readers (buttons and inputs are properly labeled);
  • Use of semantic HTML elements (buttons, inputs, labels);
  • ARIA labels for interactive elements where appropriate;
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background;
  • Text remains readable and the layout remains usable at 200% zoom;
  • No auto-playing audio;
  • Text is selectable and readable;
  • Base font size set to 1rem for improved readability;
  • The interface is responsive and usable on desktop and mobile devices.

Known Limitations

The iGlowly Assistant is embedded using Shadow DOM to ensure style and layout isolation across different websites.
While accessibility has been implemented within the widget, some assistive technologies and browser combinations may interact with Shadow DOM content differently.

Where possible, iGlowly provides fallback mechanisms for screen reader announcements and is committed to improving accessibility compatibility over time.
